Could someone be that insidious? Or am I just paranoid.

No. Never when active snuggling. I woke up once, we were sleep-spooning and I felt one, I moved around a bit, he woke up and started apologizing, said it's an unavoidable part of the sleep process, and that's true as far as I know.

Yea sure its a part of sleeping... Sure... (sarcasm in case you didnt know). The only time guys get erections is usually in the morning just before waking up. When you are actively snuggling and both awake he could simply think about other things to keep his penis flaccid.

Yes there is, one of my friends has 5 close guy friends. With the exception of one who wants to bone her, she platonically snuggles with them all. They're like her brothers.

Dude, they've all been best friends throughout HS and are now at different colleges. She isn't a whore at all, she's never done anything more than snuggle with her guy friends. My sisters had to share a bed, and they often smuggled me into their room and we all three spent the night with each other. This went on till I was 15 and they moved out, some people are just more affectionate.
