>>1382957 I wasn't interested in arthropods until I was an adult, which I kind of regret. But when I did take a tentative peek into their world, it has been like a bottomless treasure chest ever since. So much weird and cool shit.

>>1382965 Don't regret! Since you are already into it, best make more memories and delve deeper into this interest.
Another note, I wonder if invertebrates in general are welcomed here as well. I'd love me some ocean-life.

I am looking for this.picture of two orb.weaver spiders. At least thr jpg was named "orb weaver" something or other, and they were a tropical looking species I could not identify. Flat and tropical looking abdomen with a smaller spider which I was ignorantly assuming was a male. If anyone could post that would be neat. My computer shit ouy on me and all my pictures were lost. My massive/interesting arthropod folder Naked pics of ex gf's Years of browsing 4chan (obsessively sorted ) Family/personal pics including some crazy good macro shots... I wasn't really into arachnids until I found out about amblypygids. I'm seriously considering owning some in the near future.

I now have 3 jumping.spiders. Can anyone suggest to me websites or books where I can learn more of these beautiful creatures? Perhaps a simple identification, guide to North American jumping spiders, I think 2 of them are Red backed jumping spider females, although the markings on the side of the smaller one look more yellow then red. The third one is tiny so I assume it is a juevenile, that one is black and white. Can young red backs be black and white?
