Hey /an/, my sister called me with a question and I couldn't find an answer.
Her cat's breath has randomly started smelling 'soapy'. They haven't changed his diet recently and I think if he was eating soap, his mouth would probably be foamy or something more obvious. Has this happened to anyone?
hey /an/ i need some innovation and experience here. the situation is i have breeding pair of south american cockatoo cichlids who are doing very well. they recently had a sucessful batch of eggs that produced about 10 fry, now they fry only become visible after about 5 days or so and are herded and taken care of by the female but she only does this for about a week, it all started to go wrong, the pair started courting again and decimated the fry, it seems the female will only look after the fry for about a week and then resume her mating cycle.
so the question is to you /an/ what can i do to save the little fry, i dont have another tank to put them in otherwise i would, also how would i catch the fry, they are tiny and fast.
As always any help or advice will be greatly appreciated.
I brought my new 8-week-old kitten home two days ago. I separated them instantly, the kitten in my bedroom and the cat in the rest of the house. The kitten didn't take any time to adjust. He started eating, drinking, and using the litter on his own within the hour. Because he was adjusting so well I brought him out to meet my cat. They hissed and batted at each other lightly a bit but that was done quickly. Today is their second day together and my older cat is cleaning and gently playing with my kitten. There hasn't been any growling at all. I still keep the kitten in my room at night and keep them around me or my room mates when they're together, but they seem so good together. When would it be okay for them to be left alone together?
Anyone have any experience with these? I've heard them praised by other irl dog owners I know and Ein's getting to be a year old soon and I don't want him jumping on people anymore and pulling on lead. Most people around seem to be okay with him jumping because he's a small corgi so people think he's the cutest little shit on 4 legs, but I wish to raise a well behaved pup hence why I made the investment.
So, any tips, tricks, advice? Dog training general. Pic related but that's not my corgi
