I guess it is basically the same issue I have with P&S. Once I get over the nice visuals it starts to feel really shallow and I get tired of the show's references to material I'm not particularly fond of to begin with.
All that said, it isn't all bad. Looks like there's a commentary on rape culture going on, maybe, so that could turn out interesting, and I can't deny that it looks nice. Probably ought to revisit some Nagai stuff, too, maybe. I doubt it will change my opinion on stuff like KlK, but I do feel like I'm too hard on Nagai. Maybe I get too caught up on the presentation and am not taking Nagai's stuff seriously enough, or maybe I'm right and it is just shallow and indulgent.
No idea why I'm writing this much. No one is going to care or read all this shit. My issues with the show are probably my problems and not the show's, anyway.
