hi /c/, beforehand I have to apologise for the long speach.

I'm glad to finally find this thread. love scenic images but, here is where I have some doubts about what a scenic image really is, and wich elements compose it. if someone could explain it in detail for me and the comunity it would be awesome.

other question I have is why is this kind of images in /c/? it means that this image board includes not just female cute/moe girls? does scenic images belong here?

Scenic images can be indoor or outdoors, may contain people/animals or not, but are generally fairly atmospheric. The majority of the 'canvas' is non-people oriented. Scenic pics may be real or drawn, but for the purposes of this board they are obviously drawn.

The main reason that they end up here is that many scenic pics are not /wg/ quality, and there really is no other place on 4chan that they can be posted other than /cm/, which has had its fair share of scenic threads in the past. Also, the people on these two boards are generally the types who appreciate more beautiful (read: less porn-y) images, and scenic fans can often be found here.

Are those previous threads from /c/ as well, do you know? I only ask because if they're form /cm/ there's a good chance I have them, otherwise probably not.

dear anon, thanks for your answer! those previous threads I've posted are from /c/ since I dont visit /cm/ and acording to your explanation it cant be from /w/ or /wg/, wich are the other boards I visit, but early dont remember if I found it on /c/ or /w/. sometimes I find kind of scenic material in there.

hope someone post the missing compilation folders of this series. if not, maybe we can start to save and upload a new compilation.

I believe there were 9 scenic threads before this one. I think I have all of them, but I'm not sure I have 100% of the 9th one...

Once this thread ends, I'll get all 10 threads (this one included) together and upload all of them at once for download :)

I'll do my best to avoid duplicates, but I've only been taking out ones I'm 100% sure are already included, so hopefully there won't be (m)any.
