also, i encouraged her to be with people her own age, with her friends, with people with similar interests. each time she'd say that we were best friends and perfect and she wanted to be juuuust like me, and other people were stupid and not worthy of her. i did tell her politely, many times, to essentially get lost and it didn't work. i ignored her in hopes she would lose interest. when things got too far in my opinion i stopped being so nice.
