>>4027283I'd really like to know the motivation behind this.
My goal has always been to own as many tools as possible. I also like owning a lot of the same thing.
For instance, I have 1, 2, 4, and 8 oz. ladles. I also have two varieties of silicon spatulas, and about a dozen of them total. I have stainless steel bowls and wire sieves -- all of different sizes.
I've got every size and shape of pot and pan that you could ever dream of. Roasting pans and cooling racks.
I've got a stand mixer, two food processors, immersion blender, digital thermometer, deep fryer, hand mixer, two digital scales (one measures 0.01 grams and the other measures up to 11 lbs. in 0.5 gram increments), etc.
I've got a falafel maker, garlic press, a grinder for oats and other grains, tortilla press, a sausage grinder and stuffer, microplane grater, traditional box grater, can opener, pizza peel, pizza rocker, rolling pin, biscuit and cookie cutters of different sizes, potato ricer, whisk, wooden utensils, etc.
I could go on and on and on. I no doubt own more than Julia Child ever did. And I'm still acquiring more all the time.
The amount of projects I can start without having to MacGuyver may way through it are endless in possibilities.
