>>44762743Well, pretty much all web shows are obscure. I guess most of the exceptions are shows that become popular with kids and prove themselves as marketing opportunities (annoying orange...)
It's not easy to find on its own channel -- I have heard that it was never promoted well by Mondo. And because it develops so dramatically, the beginning few episodes seem to indicate that there's never gonna be a story - so people don't watch the rest.
I heard of it here on /co/, and 4chan itself is pretty obscure and not accepted by most people. Took seeing a couple threads about it to check it out, because I thought it was a direct parody of superhero tropes or DC vs. Marvel (and I was never into traditional superheroes to expect to fully understand a parody).
Which is funny, because I think females will end up appreciating the show more than males, and females would not be interested based on the main characters. I mean, isn't it reasonable to assume that a show with "batman" and "spiderman" as main characters would have SOMETHING to do with those characters? Anything at all? But it doesn't...nothing at all.
