i have a problem with my modem, i think. the adsl connection is stable. but the lan is very unstable. i tested the cable and the network adapter by using a switch. they were ok. but the modem keep unstable. i cleaned the ports. it usually do not work when i first start the computer. so i go back there click on reset on modem. after more or once, it works. it can works for hours without problems. or keep stopping several times in minutes. i am about to buy a new modem. but i am not sure if it is the real cause. any advice?
Alright, so I have to write an exam with the supervision of a proctor (I'm webcaming/screensharing). The last thing I need to resolve is the proctor TYPING the password which allows me to access the exam. He/she must do so privately. My question is: is it possible to type a password asterisk'd and then send it to me via text so I can copy and paste it without seeing it?
Hi guys, I recently got some malware installing jdownloader 2. Everytime I start my firefox the starting page is something called sweetpage. I allready deinstalled the the add-on initially causing this, and changed the starting page back to google in the settings. But it still keeps getting changed back to sweetpage everytime i start firefox again. I have installed Bitdefender, didnt remove it either. Any tips what to do or which programm i could use to get rid of that piece of shit??
