I want a hair cut. Tell me how to cut my hair. Also please note my larger than average ears. I assume this will make a difference to what cuts would look good.

What are the Clark's Desert Boots of the oxford/brogue world? ie., "entry-level," not insanely expensive, good for most outfits, still worthwhile.

If you absolutely want to do something to them. I say dip the tips in bleach. That might turn out nice.

so /fa/, I'd really like to buy a pair of desert boots. Problem is I don't exactly know where to look. I'm 17 and pretty much just wear Vans and the like. I'd really like to start expanding my wardrobe and think my footwear selection would be a great place to start. Pic related i guess. I just did a google image search for desert boots to have something to accompany this post.

Clarks are known for doing the most classic and durable Desert Boots. Generally a great place to buy them from, I love my pair.

>>3400427 Getting all leather DB's would rule out your argument.
Leather still is waterproof.
I agree with you when you're getting suede or even canvas ones.
My advice, get the Beeswax DB's. They might be a standard or even played out but they're really versatile and nice.

>>3400391 Just go to whichever store sells shoes. Desert boots are sold at pretty much every department store and a lot of shoe stores. Also, while you're there, check out the other shoes too.

Hey guise, british graphic design student here. For Sixth Form I'm going for the cockney market staller look with a suit, burberry mac and some decent charity shop brogues. But the trousers of my suit make the outfit laughable. Is there any way I can go to a tailors and ask for the trousers of my suit to be made slim-fit/skinny without ruining the suit? My budget is about £50 and the suit is worth £300. It's a rare colour and wool blend meaning buying a new pair would be pricey and difficult. There are a few small time tailors around my area, buuut I don't know what to ask for. Help pls, /fa/ Pic related; it's kinda the look I'm going for, but a bit more masculine.

>>3400931 I'm gonna help you before you end up looking like a massive faggot or socially retarded spastic. If you are going to go with this 'look' then you will have to have more than one suit, coat and pair of shoes, because wearing something like this only once or twice a week will make it seem shit and tryhard. You will need to go with this look day in, day out and look smart every day on a similar level, also you cant wear the same clothes every fucking day. Get some smart casual clothes of a similar style, look at mod fashion, get some nice polo-shirts, a decent leather manbag, gingham shirts (long and short sleeved), a quality harrington (beige or blue, never the red) and some smart plimsolls.

>>3401020 The question wasn't about the fashion, I'm already doing these things. It was about how to turn normal suit trousers into slim-fit/skinny ones.

You take them in. Either do it yourself or get a tailor. Google it.
Anonymous
Quoted By:
Simplest thing to do is have them tapered but that's something I would only do with a pair of jeans. Take your time and look for a tailor or seamstress you can rely on and just ask them to see what they can do. I get my clothing altered by Italian ladies that run a leather & dry cleaners and make dresses for girls. They do great work and it's always pretty cheap.
