Hey hey hey I think I want to get a couple of turtlenecks. I'm thinking maybe black, navy blue or grey (or red, a colour which I don't have in scores, come to think). I live in Australia, and I'd like some advice on modestly priced turtlenecks (ideally 20-70 dollars [yeah I know, but indulge me]) from online stores that ship internationally.. Or, alternatively, advice from ausfags on which stores I could check out..>pic related, he's wearing a turtleneck (BUT, how the fuck did he get a job modelling?)

/fa/ - I just got this picture off of someone else's post. Where would I go about getting an outfit of this sort? Specifically the sweater, pants (with a fit like that) and shoes. Sorry for any wrong terms, I have no knowledge of fashion in general.
Anonymous
That's just a standard generic v-neck made out of merino wool or cotton. You'll find something similar in stores like Banana Republic, Gap, J.Crew, or Uniqlo(NYC only). Unfortunately, it's more of a fall/winter sweater so it would be difficult to find one at this time of year. The pants are just straight legged khaki's or chino's. The ones in the photo need to be hemmed though.

A hem is the bottom of your pants. The pants in the picture should be made shorter by an inch or so.

I wore something very similar to this the other day to a party.
I got a 100% cotton navy V-neck for £15 from Uniqlo, fits very nicely. Chinos that colour and fit, you would want to go to Topman and buy the 'Mustard Skinny Chinos', which are a very popular item this year. I cannot help you on shoes, as I don't have any like that, though white shoes like that generally aren't too hard to find.
Some people on /fa/ avoid white trainers like the plague - I personally would go for a smarter shoe with that outfit, perhaps some brogues or, as a possible option, desert boots.

>>3400468 I think it's more giving the benefit of doubt
But yeah his answer stands. Id go to a retail outlet for poor fitting ugly clothing and grab some dark beige unslim chinos, a creased shirt and a navy v neck with insanely short sleeves. I would then look for a pair of white trainers (god knows where) and upon purchasing them I would wear them all together to create the unattractive ensemble you were searching for
"Hey /fa/ I don't need fashion advice, I'm just lazy and want you to do my shopping for me"
(Although if you're going to wear that outfit I would ask for fashion advice)

I need your help, /fa/ my friend's wedding is coming up, and I'm going to be a groomsman. but since i'm going to be standing with the bridesmaids, as i'm with the female party, i want a suit that's going to match the dresses. colors are green and grey. I need a green suit that looks classy, but all I can find are zoot suits that look like they belong at a highschool prom. can you help me?
anonymous
of course, in the end i'm going to wear whatever she wants me to wear, but i'm trying to come up with suggestions that she may find acceptable.

wear a charcoal gray suit with a green shirt or tie. and maybe a green pocket square to match. Just don't wear bright leprechaun green, think more earthy muted greens like maybe olive. or just whatever color greens the brides party is wearing lol.
