Now i can just skype my friend in vancouver and the world feels about as big as a loading screen which for me is so sad. Also with everything thats happened recently with regards to the financial crisis, MNC's taking over the world and the current spat of terrorism the world seems like a bitter and pessimistic place, filled with hatred. Life seems a lot simpler for everyone back then, and inherently more fun as a result, people weren't obsessed with celebrities to the point of making them gods and people weren't as obsessed with themselves
