how do you properly quote on textboards? html tags aint working

Whats the name of that site with a huge list of chans? Ive yet to disable my isp content block and need to find some boards theyve missed.

Just wondering how people get words to appear in their tripcodes?  Does anyone know of a web based programme that'll do this for me?

C'mon m8, the mods don't even check the text boards.

All the imageboards on 4chan have been frozen since UTC 20:11 and there are no news about what's going on, not even on the twitter. This message is partly to see if it's affected the textboards too and partly to ask if anyone knows what's going on.

I won't lie, 4chan, I'm honestly scared to browse certain boards anymore since certain things have been showing up in the /hardcore board. You guys know what I'm talking about. Spam ads for something that should not be posted on any board, or for that matter, ANYWHERE on the internet.

Hell, the crap's showing up on places like /v now and then too. So what the hell can be done about it? With this like this showing up, I don't feel safe browsing 4chan anymore.

We need a personal finance board and no /adv/ - Advice doesn't count.

Why isn't there a /med/ical board on 4chan?
I know there's /fit/ and /adv/ but neither of them exactly qualify to give health advice all the time.
Please at least consider it, moot.

I've been on 4chan since early 2008, so I've seen a few boards come and go, Fashion, Hardcore, and R9K to be the ones I remember specifically. Of course there were boards that got baleeted before that, like Loli and Furry, but what about others? /yg/ was apparently Yogurt, but what was it about? What were the first 5000-something posts on /fk/ about? When were these boards created and removed? In my 3 years of 4chan, it has only just occured to me that there are text boards, so I'm exploring them. Were there previous text boards?
