Anyone have trouble pacing themselves with sake?

do you run by a timer or what?

I think I might be used to drinking stouts really quickly, and hence my ability to pace myself is shonky at best.

Also, do you use the flat saucers, the traditional box thing or those shot glass things?

picture related, what I had last time because it's cheap and relatively ok. have definitely had better.
