Speaking of which, it was pretty funny when people would ask if I would get snow back home and I'd reply "yes, it's pretty common for winter". I think the difference between NJ snow and Japan's snow is Japan consistently gets the kind of snow that's good for snowmen and the like, where-as NJ gets the fluffy snow you can't do anything with at least half the time.
I swear, the only real big difference between here and home is that everything is in Japanese. It's kind of surreal how Japanese it is, and yet how much like home it is at the same time...
