I'm not entirely sure if there is a link within scalie vs. furry, but my gut feeling tells me /k/ is possibly the most closet furry swf board on 4chan. Even more than /co/, and they would have an excuse whereas it just seems out of place on /co/ unless the line of reasoning is like what you just said here.
