>>15252841I am
>>15251947I hope I don't get banned for delving further into this, I'm simply telling you what I know and can only assure you I, nor do most furries, try to derail threads in other boards.
My experience is not quite scientific and is only within the realm of sfur (gfur's are full of attention whore avatarfags), but whenever the conversation of firearms appears on fur threads in /b/, it is largely pro-gun or neutral-curious. There seems to be a stronger correlation between being a "scalie" and pro-gun rather than traditional mammal "furry". There's even a broader theory that scalies are more likely to be "confurvatives" and right libertarian.
One of the most prominent professional fur artists known is a conservative Randian. Atlas Shrugged is this man's bible. He's basically Paul Ryan but draws fur.
It's actually been an interesting side project for me, figuring out if this correlation really exists. Most furry community chans are slow as hell and impossible to monitor effectively, so most of my experience is within /b/.
I am assured now that there is a two way correlation between being furry and pro gun that is stronger than any other sub-culture you could find on 4chan outside of /k/. I still wonder, why.
I myself am both, but when I ask myself if there is a correlation I am not sure. I just happen to do so. It's just there. But it seems to suspicious to be a coincidence.
