>>298521Well the thing about Masons is that its relatively easy to become one, for the vast majority of 'masons' all it equates to is that you trust other masons a little more than your average joe, and help them out a bit, give them first dibs on things like business deals (as you trust them to follow through more than a new guy,) etc.
The thing about that is that it doesn't even get into the masons' 'secrets' (or if they even have any!) so it's not much of a conspiracy at that level.
As to the higher levels, the 21837128th level masons and the like, well, who knows? I'm not sure if anyone actually knows how many levels of Mason there are, not even the people at fairly high (or perhaps even the highest!) levels.
It's a damn shoddy way to run a conspiracy, really. So I doubt they're up to anything sinister. They would probably be powerful people though (politicians are an incestuous bunch, after all) so it could very well look like a conspiracy from the outside.
Conclusion: not enough info to even determine the structure of the group, let alone if it's some grand conspiracy to control teh wurldz!!11one or not. File under "Watch for additional info, but do not persue or conclude anything atm."
