I agree, to an extent. I've read 2666 cover to cover twice, and read some sections individually 3 or 4 times. Originally I thought... Part 1 > Part 5 > Part 4 > Part 3 = Part 2. Now I think... Part 1 = Part 5 > Part 2 > Part 3 > Part 4.
