I'm such a sucker for these kinds of threads, especially since this is the biggest one I've encountered, and the first one to actually effect me. I mean, sure, you could say it is autism for caring about candy-colored ponies made with a marketing franchise and pretty pictures on their butts, but to all of us here, they're our best friends. The ones we can relate to for magic, kindness, generosity, honesty, laughter and loyalty.
You can walk into this thread, and feel so many bad feels that make you want to say, "Well, the show is going to end sooner or later, why dwell in the past?" I felt that yesterday, but now I've been given such a deeper meaning to the show because of all this stuff you guys have set up. I really thank you all for it.
It shows how far we've come from simply watching a show meant for a younger and innocent demographic, to extremely amazing music, vidjas, and games made around it. I can't see I've seen this kind of effort and passion put into something that should just be for little girls.
So thanks everyone, for giving me a new outlook on the show, and my own life. And just because the show will end one day, we'll all move on, and we'll all burn out, doesn't mean we will ever forget what this show meant to us, and how for some, it gave them the best years of their lives.
