On Sept. 26, the Washington Supreme Court held that a man who entered an Alford plea (commonly treated the same as a no-contest plea) in a capital case could then be sentenced to death, despite the longstanding common law prohibition against no-contest pleas in capital cases.
Dayva Cross entered an Alford plea to killing his wife and two of her three daughters in 2001 and was sentenced to death. Specifically, "ne March 1999 evening, Cross struck his wife, Anoutchka, in the face during an argument. The next morning, Anoutchka's 13-year-old daughter, M.B., woke to the sounds of Cross brutally and repeatedly stabbing her mother and her elder sister, 18-year-old Solome, to death. Cross then tried to force his way into the bedroom M.B. shared with her 15-year-old sister, Amanda. Despite Amanda's efforts to keep the door closed, Cross forced it off its hinges and killed her in front of M.B.'s eyes. Cross then kept M.B. confined at knife point for five hours while he drank wine and watched television. M.B. escaped after he fell asleep." (citations omitted)
My question: Why the fuck did they let him enter an Alford plea?
A British passport is normally valid for 10 years. At 200000 British passports per month that would make 24 million new British citizens over 10 years.

And if men stop getting married, that means women won't be financially supported by men anymore. And thus, women will have no choice but to become INDEPENDENT and support themselves and pay their own bills.
There is nothing that terrifies women more than being independent.

BEIJING - A former Chinese banking official who amassed a real estate empire under multiple fake identities stood trial yesterday for forgery of identities and purchase of forged official documents.
Gong Aiai's one-day trial was held in a court in Jingbian county in north-west Shaanxi, her home province, reported cnwest, the official news website of Shannxi.
Gong, 49, has been dubbed "House Sister" by the Chinese public for allegations that she bought at least 45 properties worth US$160 million.
Her case, however, centres on her use of fake identities to garner those properties.
After the case surfaced earlier this year, people were shocked by the size of her real estate holdings - including 41 properties in the ultra-pricey housing market of Beijing, reported the Associated Press.
They also were alarmed that Gong was able acquire multiple identities despite China's tightly controlled regulations on identification documents, said the news agency.
Multiple identifications not only give a person access to additional benefits in areas of housing and education but also hide one's assets and circumvent property limits in Beijing and other cities that are meant to deter real estate speculation.
One other issue is that Gong's ability to get multiple identifications suggests corruption among the police who register residences and issue identification cards.
Indeed, four others stood trial with her yesterday. They included two former senior police officers from Shaanxi's Shenmu county, where Gong also owns a string of properties.
In addition, another seven have been detained in Beijing, other parts of Shaanxi and neighbouring Shanxi province, reported cnwest, quoting police.
The Beijing police have also seized Gong's 41 properties in the capital and an Audi vehicle, said the website.
Before her arrest, Gong worked in Shenmu Rural Commercial Bank, where she rose from a minor loan official in 1986 to become its vice-president in 2010.
She was not a civil servant, as bank was not a state-owned entity.
Most people consider is to be a "loaded word". Some people deny there's any niggers left in the civilized world - that they've all somehow magically been civilized into "African Americans", that we have managed to in 200 years turn them into, what it took us 2000 years to become ourselves. Allow me to differentiate between a black man and a nigger in three examples:
A black man will borrow your bike, and then return it when he has repaired his own.
A nigger will "borrow" your bike. A nigger will take your bike, then SAY he will return it when you ask him for it, then say that he HAS returned it when you ask him for it again, acting like somebody ELSE came to your crime-free neighborhood and just HAPPENED to steal it between the time that he returned it and the next time you inspected your driveway. ...and when you walk all the way over to his place, you will find it standing in his driveway, because he hasn't had the time to sell it yet. Then when you then call the cops on him, he will act all surprised about it: "But he told me I could borrow it!" It's not just a saying: A nigger will steal your bike. I don't know why bikes are so irresistable to niggers, but a nigger will even steal his "friends" bikes.
Again: A NIGGER IS NOT YOUR FRIEND.
If you're lost, and you see a black man, and you ask him for directions, he will give you accurate, honest directions. He will at least try, or at the very least turn you away.
A nigger will give you accurate directions, alright. He will politely tell you exactly how to get the furthest possible way in the OPPOSITE direction, on purpose. If you ever return from your little camping trip in the woods, and find him standing there, and you confront him with why on earth he would give a complete stranger false directions, you will get the answer that you sounded rude when you asked.

If you ever get raped, and you tell a black man about it, he will feel sorry for you, and he will hate your attackers. You might think that this a natural thing to do, and that every human being has at least some semblence of loyalty in their narrow, right?
Tell a nigger about it, he will listen to your grief, and he will feign sympathy for years, and soon enough you will see your rapist be listed amongst his best friends on facebook. Ask him about it, and he will tell you: "He's really a nice guy once you get to know him." Apparently they had something in common: You. ...so the next time you see an "African American", ask yourself: Do you feel lucky? Can you tell the difference between a black man and a nigger in time?
TAIPEI - Taiwan President Ma Ying-jeou was mobbed by hundreds of angry mourners as he attended the funeral service for a young conscript who died after allegedly being abused by his officers.
Protestors, including relatives and sympathisers, shouted "We want truth" as Mr Ma, protected by security guards, made his way to the funeral site at the soldier's home in the central city of Taichung.
The service was held a day after more than 100,000 people took to the streets of the capital Taipei to protest over the death of Corporal Hung Chung-chiu and the "sloppy" military investigation of the case.
Mr Hung, 23, who was due to begin graduate school next month, died on July 3 of heatstroke after collapsing during allegedly excessive physical training - apparently punishment for taking a smartphone onto his base. He died just three days before the end of his compulsory year-long military service.
Mr Ma pledged that no such tragedy would recur in the military as he offered his condolences to the family.
"As the President and the leader of the...three armed forces, I hereby guarantee that Hung Chung-chiu will not have died in vain and such a tragedy will not happen again," Mr Ma told Mr Hung's father Hung Chi-tuan.
A total of 18 military officials were indicted last week over Mr Hung's death, including the former commander of his brigade, after military prosecutors completed their investigation.
They were indicted on charges ranging from abuse leading to death and involuntary manslaughter to imposing illegal punishment on a subordinate and offences against personal liberty.
But four detained suspects were separately released by a military court on bail last week, fuelling public anger and complicating the Taiwanese military's efforts to transition from a mixed force of conscripts and volunteers to an all-volunteer force.
"The four are likely to further collude with each other. Why were they released on bail?" Mr Hung's father asked Mr Ma.
The President said military prosecutors had appealed against the court's ruling. Mr Ma has apologised for the incident and Defence Minister Kao Hua-chu resigned.
Mr Hung's family said he was repeatedly refused water during the punishment despite being close to collapse. He had previously filed complaints about other abuse meted out by superiors.
