The companies making cameras with stabilized sensors right now are Panasonic (I think), Olympus, Sony, and Pentax. Each of those has a mount with electrical contacts, since they all need to drive the autofocus lens motors and power the chip that reports lens information for EXIF and whatnot. This power source can also be used to drive an IS system.
Furthermore, that situation is *so* possible that it has actually happened:

I believe what happens is the camera turns off its stabilization in favor of the lens' stabilization. I don't have a source for that, but I remember reading about it when it first came out.
