How can I remake this portrait? Be specific please!
From my knowledge I would probably just take two picture of myself looking different locations, maybe drop the opacity to 50% or switch them both to screen.
Then I would probably desaturation and use the color balance to add light blue to the highlights. (I am not sure about the mids and darks.)
And for the background I would probably just use the color picker and grab the lightest color on my right shoulder so it looks like my shoulder is fading in to the background. I would also throw a vignette at the top.
And maybe toss some blurr on the pictures and definitely add some grain.
Does that seem like it would do the trick? If I were to attempt this, what would I be doing wrong?

The strap that came with my Canon T2i is beginning to reek and it is still as stiff as the day I put it on.
I'm thinking about a Domke strap. Anyone have experience with it? Alternatives?
Also, post pics of 3rd party straps attached to your camera.

hey /p/ I'm thinking about purchasing a zenitar 2.8 16mm fisheye lens for my sony a100.
Does anyone have any experience with this lens/using it on a sony alpha?
I've wanted to experiment with fisheye for a while and this is the most affordable entrance I can find other than using one of those fisheye extension things you can just attatch to the lens. Are they any good or am I better going for the lens?

First time on /p/, and not a photographer at all.
I'm a musician, and I decided to buy a disposable camera, for shits and giggles, to document a day, which included an out of town gig, hanging out with friends, going to an empty classroom to get wasted, and playing pool in a grimy pool hall. The photos came out pretty well, so I put them online. People were commenting on "how long ago did you take them!?" "they look so vintage".
Are disposable cameras something hipster photographers are now using? There's something really warm and likeable about the way disposable film comes out. Pic related, its one of the ones I took.
