There's a lot of paneling and small details that would be glossed over if it was painted. I've not seen many painted papercrafts that look as good as a fully textured and nicely printed model.

to show for it. Vector is a much better format than raster. Its infinitely scaleable without relying on resolution. Its instantly editable with proper software and it takes up less space that a set of high rez scans. Deal with it.
Fuck, if I can't get the source file, I may as well just retrace the whole damn thing in Corel. Its a lot of work, but its worth it to have a better looking model (not that anything is wrong with the Minotaurs, I just want it to look crisp and in the colors I want)
