I guess I'm technically a mix of both. I work for a company that's basically paying my way through to a masters. When I'm not studying biology, I'm putting it to use in real work. 3rd year atm, but knowledge gained via working covers cutting-edge stuff in certain areas (Mainly in working with PCR and related stuff).

Seriously though, it's all about a power grab. There should be a fucking microscope placed over every legislature on the planet. Sessions of congress, parliament, duma, whatever should end with the legislators walking through a tunnel filled with armed citizens who are selected for the job much like jury duty. The legislators wear name tags and the citizens are briefed on who voted for or against that day prior to the "walk of oversight". Naturally, this leads to a potentially VERY high mortality rate among legislators and so it will discourage those simply seeking power, prestige, or money from running for office.

nono I'm a sophomore too (sophomore is amerikkan for 2nd year right?) i mean 300~400 each semester for all subjects i'm doing that semester (4 subjects).
Usually not all 4 subjects require a textbook.
and I can get some of them secondhand.

But I still choose not to buy unless really cheap
