>>2982313 There were 2 tests, on april 19th and april 28th,
In the first test on April 19,
<the national Italian television channel RAI was present and its reportage will be broadcast on the channel RAI News Thursday, May 5th at 20:35.
So we can expect a larger exposure, and possibly international coverage after that.

ITT: Theories that you find absolutely retarded, write the person who wrote it a letter. Dear EDWARD LORENZ (Chaos Theory or whatever the theory is that posits every time someone makes a decision, a parallel universe is created for each choice possible) Today a vehicle was broken down in the "Right turn only" lane on the off-ramp which I had to take, which would force me to go into the other lane, the "left turn only" lane. Here I had 2 choices: Make a left or continue to make my right from the "left turn only" lane. I made the right turn. I got home. Safely, and without reprimand, which doing this risky behavior is generally enforceable by law and dangerous. If I would have made the left turn, I maybe might have used more gas than necessary to get home, which would've cost me maybe a very small amount of money. Don't call your theory a T.O.E. (Theory of Everything) because you suck at predicting the weather, you meteorologist fucks. Meteorology still isn't a science, nor will it ever be. Sincerely, Anonymous PS: A butterfly flaps its wings in Texas and a tornado happens in Tuscaloosa, Alabama = LOL HAAHAHHAHAAHAHAHHAHAHA 48/2*12 probably equals 2, huh? LAWLZ.

Ah physics. The only branch of science that thinks they explain stuff simply by giving it a name. Ask any physicist: Why do masses attract each other? Because of gravity. Why can't we surpass the speed of light? Because of relativity. Why does entropy always increase? Because of the second law of thermodynamics.

What does space contain? I mean, outer space. We know there's no air. So is there nothing at all? No molecules? Forgive my ignorance, it's just weird for me to think about this, an area that doesn't even contain any gasses? Or do I have this all wrong?

Hello today well, I having some trouble with this math question this is: Achemical reactions products are denoted by: dx/dt = k(a-x)(b-x) where x(t)=grams of substance C a=8 b=6 at t=0 there were no grams of substance C and at t=10 there were 2 grams question is: how many grams are there after 15minutes? Hey /sci/ just have a question, but I'm not sure if it has answer to it. But here I go: I was just wondering, is the speed of an electron travelling through a wire in an electric current affected in anyway by the speed of the electrons in the s orbitals of the atoms in the conductive material? Thanks
Anonymous
> the speed of the electrons in the s orbitals of the atoms in the conductive material You'll have to 'splain this a little better Electron orbitals are just probability clouds in modern physics... it sounds like you're thinking of the classical "billiard ball" model where electrons were little balls that whipped around the nucleus in circles.
Anonymous
Sure it does, faster moving electrons in the atoms means more chance of collisions with the current carrying electrons. Which is why hotter materials have a higher resistance.
Anonymous
>>2983315 No. See:
>>2983303 >>2983309 Hotter materials means the electrons in the conducting metal aren't in ground levels and so the conductive band is slightly crowded and so the current electrons interact electrically with the electrons in the conductive metal. It has nothing to do with electrons moving around atoms. You need to take more than an intro physics class before you start answering these questions.

/sci/ I need help on an exam question. I need to find acceleration, a, when all I know is that the initial velocity is 0 and the final velocity is 82ms-1. The time is not given, but the mass and engine thrust is (it's an aircraft). Will provide that info if its needed. pic semi related

1 newton is 1 kilogram per m/s^2.
so if mass is kilograms, thrust/mass will give accelleration in ms^2.
i think the extra infor of initial and final velocity are just red herrings to throw you off.
hope this helps :)
