I gave them my transcript. The engineering school at my university does not require english composition, and instead has a technical communication course to fill that requirement. But this CC wants english comp so I gotta take the placement. Luckily a bunch of retards go to this CC so it shouldn't be too hard.

You can rent a car as long as you're 21 or older.

The only problem is that if you're under 25, you pay a very high daily premium for the car and mandatory insurance.

I live in Alberta. I've had this problem in both Canada and the US, when I've done some cross-border flights.

Strangely enough, I got a courtesy car from the Esso guys in Great Falls, MT. I just had to leave my document booklet behind as collateral.

I think you should be given grades based on whether you can demonstrate competence in the material by the end of the semester, not only by what your test scores are... so a few make up points would be nice. then i wouldn't have to waste another 4 months of school and thousands of dollars just to clean up a minor mistake.
