So, /soc/. Who has life much harder, men or women?
Since I'm a man, I'm gonna give a biased opinion and say men. For example: For men (in the USA) who want financial aid for college, they MUST agree to be put in the draft, while women don't have to. Bullshit.
The reason I ask? I take a writing class and it has more or less, around five men and ten women. When one man said that life was harder for men, I agreed, and the other men stood silent for the rest of the 145-minute class while the women outnumbered us and wouldn't let us speak. Tomorrow, there will be probably be another argument, and I want some thoughts floating around in my head to argue about.
I know it's a shot in the dark, but anyone go here? Tips/advice for a newcomer? Starting graduate school in the fall, never been to North Carolina before.
I like nerd friends, male or female although mainly males because girl nerds tend to be cock-sucking whores. I've recently moved to a new city for university and I'm trying to no avail to dig up a new friend group. I suspect that possible candidates will be hiding inside somewhere.
