BEHOLD! THE FUTURE! ...until denver gets tired of putting up with their quarterback being unable to lead an underachieving team to the superbowl because hes not living up to the IMPOSSIBLE standards of being the next john elway. ill see you on the bench in 4 years, jay!

>>25380 Damn right. Sharpe brought a dimension to the team that's been sorely missed. I still have no idea why they haven't retired his number (most successful tight end in the history of the NFL plz)

>>25380 Hell, was there anything that Broncos team didn't have?

>>25391 A middle linebacker. Glenn Cadrez was alright though. Yeah, 1998-1999 Broncos were the last close to perfect team to win the SB.

>>25408 Kind of scary when a team wins the Super Bowl one year, and is even BETTER the year after. Yeah, the 98-99 team was just insultingly good. Could've gone undefeated if it wasn't for that cornerback of ours fucking up in the Giants game.

The 1998 Minnesota Vikings thread. They ruled. But Gary Anderson fucked them.

"LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) -- Chicago Bears defensive tackle Tommie Harris, who made the Pro Bowl a year ago, could miss the remainder of the season with a severe hamstring injury." So, who do y'all think are going to go to the Super Bowl now? Saints, Seahawks, or Cowboys?
Anonymous
Considering the only REAL threat the 'boys have in their remaning games are the Saints, Im thinking Cowboys all the way.
Anonymous
>>25397 Cowboys will get the NFC Championship, and then get beaten (probably by the Saints).

UC Santa Barbara win Mens Division I Soccer UCSB 2 UCLA 1 Fuck you, UCLA.
Anonymous
wow, there's a gaucho fan on 4chan? I thought I was the only gaucho here. I think UCLA was too busy watching the "other" football. Being heavy favorites and taking things for granted does that to a team... Just ask USC.

>>25184 And sucking, did you see the goals getting dumped in the sea? That was awesome.

Typical rookie retardation tonight by Cutler, which I was expecting. Not exactly an inspired start to his career, but he looked good in spots and this bodes well for the future.
Anonymous
Quoted By:
He looked kinda Jake-like tonight. But it's better to look like Jake on your rookie debut, than to look like Jake 10 years into your career. Cutler will be OK. Gonna be interesting to see how the class of '06 (Young, Leinart, Cutler) develops.

Quoted By:
With the exception of that one throw, he did pretty good IMO. The main difference is that Cutler is a rookie and Jake Plummer is a 10 year veteran who still plays like a rookie.

Wow. You're in the middle of a playoff hunt. Yeah, things were going a little south for a second, but if you would of noticed, your defense is slipping. Here's a good idea. Let's just throw a rookie quarterback in there and see what happens. It will be fun. . . . Fuckin' Shanahan.
