damn, and i thought that my Angels' signing of Gary Matthews was over the top but the Drew deal and the negotiating rights to the wap pitcher were extravagant. i watched Drew in person the last 2 years... make that last year, since his first year in LA consisted of like 50 games and last year the only way he was able to play more than a hundred games was due to the personalized babysitting that Grady provided. Plus, i guess he was already planning on opting out before the year so he had to perform for a future contract. Drew is worthless
