This keeps on happening, everything in the daytime is completely normal, but every finds themselves in the same surrealistic dreamworld whenver they sleep. With practice and concentration, people can do various dream things a la lucid dreaming or Wheel of Times dreaming shenanigans. Flying, changing clothes, messing with landscape, etc. People varyingly are freaking out, fighting, and being traumatized by what's happening in the dreams, or enjoying, forming bonds, and exploring each other's minds.

>House of the Rising Drum - Delinquent HabitsMacguffin is a drum, that if played during the night locks everyone into a sleeping beauty-esque slumber for the next day. Every time it's drummed it vanishes and reappears somewhere else in the dreamscape, hidden and guarded by traps and/or nightmares. In order to break free of the dream for good, the drumskin must be cut.
