I've been told by numerous U.K. /toy/soldiers that HLJ boxes seem to get specifically targeted by customs, since they use unique boxes rather than generics. That is, SAL from HLJ would get caught and not SAL from AmiAmi or Hobbysearch.

They're professional, but shipping is a bit bitchy as they have a weird system where it's 2000 yen flat for 5 items. Or some weird variation of that deal. You are also making preorders on a batch so you can't do combined shipping outside of the batch.

Some of the gsc items have been showing up on Mandarake for the same or less, and shipping is probably cheaper there. So that's something you can risk.

That's the thing, I've done this. Believe it or not, but I don't have a shitty card and I have no problems calling them up when there are problems in me getting my shit.

The thing is, the charges never even came from AmiAmi to BE denied. The problem IS them, and when I e-mailed them about it, they told me flat out - I wasn't the only person that's had this problem and they suggest using PayPal. That's it.

I've ordered from HLJ, Mandarake, Hobby Search, the works, this is the only site that has ever had this and continued to have this problem. It's nuts.

GSC publicly apologized, and refunded everybody's postage, so all that happened was, people had to wait a long time to get their precious dollies. That was it, nobody got ripped off or anything.
It was a mistake they corrected, and they have been sending things out correctly ever since.
But all people want to do is bitch about how "GSC fucked them over", when it simply isn't true.

Well, it's not just that, this has been long overdue. We used to have a page on our Wiki with all this info that we could link to, but the Wiki is dead now. So whenever people ask, we have to go find out copypasta txt files or type out long strings of info off the top of our heads. These images solve that problem.

If your credit card doesn't work, just shoot them an e-mail and they'll change it to paypal.

Or heck, maybe you can even change that yourself now with the new options. I know you can change your own shipping method before it gets calculated.

Those are two good shop with good feedback,the only problem with anime Export is all preorder must be paid upfront (even regular item) . Also you forgot to mention Sal Parcel in the shipping option, it's faster than registered Sal for me (1 week for Sal parcel and 2 or 3 week for Sal registered)
