>>2316432yes. the hasbro contract store rep's job is to:
*count current stock levels of product in the store.
*make sure street dates are being upheld
*make sure current store promotions (coupons on packaging, endcaps, shelf tag advertisments are in place)
*adjust slow moving stock (i.e. large amounts of pegwarmers that are keeping newer merchandise from getting stocked on the shelf)
*report on any complaints from employees, managers, and customers.
*stock shelves where product has room to go out.
however, most "reps" do the bare minimum, make their report to the main company, and cash that check they get. joecon is an excellent example that the official hasbro reps from the company stated that their little reps across the country report *zero* problems with the line. no reports on wal-mart heavily removing joe product from shelves. no reports on poor distribution of product. no reports of shortages or gluts of certain figures. hasbro has no clue what the real consumer world looks like or what they want. they simply live off the limited date they're handed from contract reps across the country.
