/toy/ I need your advice!
I've always loved dollhouses, but I've never done anything more than lloking at them in shops. But seeing this thread made me finally want to try and build/decorate one myself. But, where to start?
The huge amount of stuff available online makes my head spin, and I have no idea what would be a good project for an absolute beginner.
As a student I have neither a huge budget nor a great amount of space. Room boxes seem like an inexpensive way to get started, but I also find the 1/144 houses utterly adorable. I'm guessing because they're so tiny they require more skill?
Are there any Europe based alternatives to
miniatures.com? Buying stuff in dollars isn't as cheap as it used to be, and shipping prices will be pretty high.
