You had toy specific (Hisstank, BWTF, ect ect.) that were on top of stuff, hell lots of info from toy COMES from those sites.
You also had the store sites as well
Sometimes the Official site's of products were well updated with info regarding toys
Even the less specific toy parts of the mag became worthless
Price guides are very out of date thanks to online retail like Ebay. Where you just compile data on "recently" ended auctions and get a feel on how to sell/buy
Info they shared such as trivial bits on 80's tv or superheros can be found on the countless specific wiki sites.
Interviews were rare and when they did get them it was almost felt like a copy past from a web interview that was around the same time.
All they had was there humor but then robot chicken busted in.
It's death was inevitable.
