Every week you come here and do anti-China, anti-Korea, pro-Japan, pro-Taiwan posts in a dozen threads on here and in /int/. You must be a sad DPP voter with a hard on for Japanese occupation. I'm coming to Taiwan in a month and if I find you I'll kick your ass.

hey /trv/, I'm flying to LHR on Friday to visit my brother. There is a chance that he won't be able to get there for several hours after I land and I really don't want to be hauling my luggage around that long. He lives east of London though so getting a locker at the airport won't be very effective. Are there any stations on the Central line that have lockers I can store a sizable suitcase in?

TLDR: Read the last sentence ^

SO, specifically for American travelers but others can chime in as well -- given the killing of bin Ladin, how are your travel plans affected? You going to be a bit more alert, or a lot more alert, or cancel a trip, or what.

Any places in the world you'll quietly take off your list for the time being?

Discuss...

Hey /trv/, any of you guys carry weapons with you when you travel? You know, just in case shit hits the fan. Something that wouldn't necessarily be completely illegal in every country?

Pic related. Reasonable to carry around the world?

The lease is up at the end of May. Everyone is leaving. I was fired from my job two weeks ago. I have about eighteen bucks to my name.

I might be on the street in a month if I can't find work fast enough to put together a deposit for a new room.

I haven't been the kind of person I needed to be to the people who were important to me, so I can't really count on any support from friends or family.

The thought of traveling for a while has been a recurring thought that resurfaces from time to time. I figure it'll never go away until I try it. I really want to head south and see Central and Latin America (Amerifag here). In this case I guess it wouldn't be traveling so much as bumming around I guess.

I'm 25, male, reasonably intelligent, but have no advanced degree. I'm cleancut. I don't do drugs.

I'm pretty scared.

What's it like being homeless in North America, /trv/? Any advice/tips/tricks from people who have been there?
