the lava cookies are from a fanmade recipe. the tails are just plush tails so not edible ones. rage candy bars I don't think had an official product made, though like the lava cookies someone's probably made some fan recipe.

When I was getting my Masuda Deoyxs at the Tokyo PokeCen a couple weeks ago, a couple of kids and their guardian came and asked if they could sit at the table as well. Of course I said yes, and the two boys started going through and opening their TCG card packs. It was absolutely adorable hearing them say stuff like "whoa this one's strong!" and stuff. Reminded me of my sister and me when we were kids.

One of them looked at my 3DS, commented on the stickers on it (the dot sprite set's stickers) and asked which game I was playing and stuff it was really cute. But I like little kids in general.

I'll try to resize a few pictures I have of the outside of the Tokyo PokeCen to post before going to sleep, but here's the one of the two other iphone pictures I have that I don't have to resize. the store was very crowded the day I took most of my pictures of it and I was afraid of getting yelled at by Japanese people.

This is a sign at the Hamamatsucho station platform that directs you towards the PokeCen. I found it AFTER having gotten half lost once.

The Tokyo PokeCen mascots, Pikachu, Piplup, and Charmander.

Pikachu is one of the three mascots for all of the stores, and most of the others are starters.

Usually on this side there's the birthday stand where if you have proper proof and such, you can get the jumbo card thing and the event pokemon (right now tabunne/audino), but it was on haitus for the week for whatever reason.

I got the wallet for my boyfriend. It's very nice, but it's an expensive present. I wish I could have gotten him more of the set because it's just that stylish but each item he wanted was at least 2,000jpy (ignoring the "kiddy" items).

Here's the inside as well.
It's really nice, and the pokemon-ness of the set is rather subtle so I think it's pretty cool for everyday use.

I love that.
But that's not what really makes me happy.
What makes me happy is seeing all these families with all these children in the PokeCenter.
Pokemon's not dead.
This generation holds thousands of young children who love Pokemon just as much as we did when we were kids.
