It was such a normal, wonderful day, like any day in your own world. Nothing extraordinary happened, no one needed saving. In fact you nearly mistook it for a trip you made in your own world until you recall the day in detail, and the city you were visiting.

As you mentally relive that journey, you recall how you were walking because you had just missed the Ampharos powered tram whose steel tracks were set within the road’s autumn colored cobblestones that reflected the afternoon sun.

You noticed a man walking his Herdier, and reminded that this was now possible, you let one of your Pokémon out to accompany you as you tried to navigate the city without a map.

I'm 19. First started playing Pokemon in 1998, when I was only 6 years old.

So much has changed since then. A lot of my best childhood friends don't talk to me anymore because they got involved with drugs and I didn't. Loved ones have passed. We've all gone on our separate ways to college. My childhood sense of innocence and wonder is gone. I've grown up.

I can't believe that after 13 years I would still be walking around Kanto, trying to be the very best. I'm not a complete nostalgiafag or anything, I have all the generations, and beaten them, but I always come back to the Kanto games, whether it's RBY, FRLG, or GSC/HGSS. That region has become a part of me, as I am sure it has become a part of a lot of you.

These games have been a constant in my life. They mean so much to me, for the fun they provide and the great memories they bring back.

So a few months ago, I posted the Kanto entries of my Pokedex series on /vp/. For those who weren't around then, it's a series of pokemon drabbles/ficlets of around 250-300 words, one for each pokemon, dealing with pokemon history, biology, folklore, or whatever else comes to mind.

Well, it took a while, I took a couple months off and was slow as hell, but I finally finished Johto. So I thought I'd share it with you guys; you liked it last time and /vp/ needs more interesting OC. There's some amazing potential in the pokemon world, after all.
