I might not have watched Pokémon Smash every week, but I certainly have watched it more often than that, and Pokémon Sunday before it. I don't know what command of the Japanese language you really have, but to me, it sounded a bit vague. If I made a mistake, fine. But I think it was quite clear and obvious from the way I was making my tweets as a stream of consciousness, that what I was tweeting was my own thoughts, opinions and speculation.
Last week, I pointed out that there was no mention of it on the TV Tokyo site. The point of confusion was that I referred to that as the official site for the show (which it is), while others were thinking of the official site in terms of the official site for the franchise, and Pokémon Smash's page there. You'll note that I've made an effort to be more precise in how I refer to those sites this week, to avoid a repeat of the same confusion.
As for my tweets this week....regardless of what I may personally know myself, when making these live tweets I make the assumption that not every person who's actually reading them is entirely up to date on news. There's plenty of fans of the franchise who do not obsessively reload the major fansites and/or their social media streams every few seconds, looking for news. Even if they have been trying to keep up with the news, it's entirely possible they may have overlooked or missed something. If I assumed everyone had the same level of info as I did, then I'm just going to confuse a substantial minority of people.

I can't abide yes-men. As I've said when I posted here before, 4chan is a place of brutal honesty. While there's always going to be some people just trolling (as well as the occasional person using the veil of anonymity to make attacks on us with greater credibility than they'd have if they posted with their usernames from elsewhere), 4chan is a place where I know I'm not just going to get suck-ups and brown-nosers, and part of what makes 4chan so valuable in that respect is precisely that I have no more power here than any other user of the site. No one's going to feel intimidated by me, no one's going to censor themselves, no one has any fear that what they say might be personally linked to themselves and whatever persona that they've built up in the fandom elsewhere. So while I might have to do a bit of digging for it sometimes, I know that here is a place I can get some good, honest, valid criticism and feedback. Exactly the kind of feedback that yes-men would never give me.
