I built this house in the middle of 6 acres of forest and farmlands in northern ontario.

What would you guys do if you came across it?

Have you ever deliberately placed weird things in the forest or other places to mess with people?

Hey /x/, let's have a creepy unsolved crimes thread.
Crimes where the circumstances still don't make sense, and just reading the eerie details gives you spine-tinglies, especially when the perpetrator (or perpetrators) may still out there.

I'll start us off with a few good examples.

Rookie Mode: Post a Wikipedia link.

Veteran Mode: Post a Wikipedia link AND a green-text summary in this thread that explains why the crime/event is so creepy, and inspires people to go and read the Wiki article.

Also, just to preempt something that has derailed threads in the past, let's exclude the Dyatlov's Pass incident. If you want to discuss that particular case, it needs its own thread. Anything other than that, though, is fair game.

Has anyone every been in a strange reality glitch where they should have died but did not?

I like looking through old halloween pictures. The costumes they used to make had this weird, unsettling look to them. Post more stuff like this?

ITT - Things from our childhood that terrified us.

Hey, /x/. I made an abandoned mall thread here about 4 years ago give or take. Thought I'd rehash it, why not?

Anyone who wants to contribute please feel free. Otherwise, I'll just dump.

Story time
> I was 8 and we went to Mexico
> Was really social with all my cousins over there usually shared a bed with an older female cousin named Eli
> Typical Mexican girl with no future at the time she went out alot was very agressive towards my aunt and came home when she wanted
> Late night of telling "scary stories", it's a common practice in Mexican culture to basically scare away kids from doing things the parents see unfit by introducing fake stories of monsters that kidnap you " El cucuy" and other such things
>Telling a story about a girl from the town that supposedly got possessed and had to be taken to the main church or something along those lines
> Scared shitless for once my cousin was there to be with me so I would sleep with her in the same bed
> I made advances in trying to hug her or tell her to talk to me I was scared shitless
> Like any 8 year old you just pass out, out of no where
> Wake up to the tightest most painful grip around my arm
> She's screaming to help her
> Everyone literally thought she was just playing around she tended to do that alot to try and scare us
> Pay no attention until we notice she's getting dragged towards the end of the bed
> Scream and call my grandma to come
> My Grandma super religious Catholic ( 90% of Mexico at the time was Catholic)

Everybody's got ghost stories from past dives. Mostly guys new to the north sea's near zero visibility, it's like fog, makes your mind fill in the blanks. Add to that the hallucinations that sometimes come with HPNS and basically everyone's seen something on a dive but most (rightly) dismiss it.

I've seen those kinds of things in perfect vis, crystal clear for 200 feet in front of me, I was real deep but I don't get HPNS and I've never started seeing things. Some of them I touched, so either it's a hallucination of two senses or what I saw were real physical things.

I mainly post on DIY but thinking back to past dives keeps me up at night and this is the board they said was the right place to talk about this kind of thing.
