I think they did, after the Fortune Cup finals they were on good terms again.
I liked Yusei vs Z-ONE duel but since I couldn't get into the story after the DS arc, I wasn't that excited watching the duel.

Actually it does. I got back into Duel Monsters thanks in part to how great 5D's was. I droped it as soon as I realized how shit Zexal was. That show makes GX look like a master piece.

Depends what you mean by complex. MtG seems to have more flexible ways to utilize cards while Yugioh has its wordings and RULINGS, RULINGS EVERYWHERE.
