Suggest some Netflix anime.

Kind of an anime-newfag as of late, I used to watch some stuff back in the day, and I know that Netflix offers some titles through their streaming service, so I am looking for recommendations.

I do not like moeblob shit, and anime I've enjoyed in the past include Cowboy Bebop, Crest/Banner of the Stars, Dual, and Lupin the 3rd.

So anyone with Netflix have some suggestions for me?

For those who are concerned about the quality, if it's fun and I like it, I'll get the higher quality shit. That's what I did with Crest/Banner.

I'd honestly say anything by Kon other than Paprika. Paprika was good, but best saved for last and certainly never first.

Millennium Actress is fun as a really pretty and visually entertaining kind of romance story.

Tokyo Godfathers is a good comedy with a good mix of other things in it.

Perfect Blue is his big debut film, a psychological thriller, a little slow but worth it if you're in the mood for a horror drama sorta thing.

Kon's one series is the 13 episode long Paranoia Agent. Good fun, takes a little from all of the above and throws in a little not-quite-murder mystery. Gets crazy by the end.

Otomo's stuff I could also recommend basically anything, but I'd say start with Memories. It's a series of 3 short films, all good, all drastically different from one another.

Other good starter in Otomo's lineup would be Robot Carnival, another compilation of shorts where Otomo did the opening and ending, the rest were various other directors.

Trigun, FLCL, Birdy Decode, Baccano! are all on Netflix right now and worth the watch.

Eden of the East is up, but I'm not quite sure on how good the dub is, but the show itself was pretty good.
