ok, so I'm pregnant.
My husband is the father. BUT despite offering another chance to work things out for the sake of the kid he has declined counseling or any involvement. He completely left and doesn't pick up the phone when I call him to tell him about sonograms, etc. Obviously has no love for me or the kid.
In the meantime, I have tons of prenatal bills and things are getting tight. I have an option to move in with my aunt and uncle until the baby is born - but that means moving hours and hours away.
Do I just cut off all ties completely? It means the kid will have no father and I'm not really okay with that for the mental health of the child. And moving just means I cut off all chances of my husband changing his mind.
Am I a complete bitch for giving up after an month and a half of silence or do I need to give him a bit more time? I'm trying to think of the kid, not myself, and what's best for him/her.
