The first thing I did when I woke up a few seconds after the incident was decide my eye sockets were probably overflowing with blood and not tears so i shouldn't open my eyes
The second thing I did was try not to laugh cause of how stupid me flipping back off the horse and then flipping it back with me in such a fluid arc that the thing slams into my face the moment I hit the ground must have looked because I really REALLY did not want to have to explain me laughing about getting badly injured while still being mentally okay other than the concussion
and then came myself and a few other students trying to keep the art teacher calm which I also tried badly not to laugh about the irony of
the point being physical scars and mental scars aren't the same fucking thing, just cause one CAN cause the other doesn't mean one usually does cause the other
