Good: loves water, good for families, wants to please, short hair.
Bad: Tends to get obese (control the food), looses hair a lot.
BEAGLE
Good: tolerant, calm, loves to play
Bad: tends to get obese (control food), energetic
BLOODHOUND
Good: energetic, tolerant, good for families
Bad: skin problems, deep/loud bark, will howl, energetic
GREYHOUND/WHIPPET
Good: very affectionate, tall and slim (no fat), runs very fast, muscled, listens well, very short hair.
Bad: gets cold easily (needs shirts), NEEDS to run, runs after what's smaller than it.
BOXER
Good: very playful, loves everyone, energetic
Bad: heart problems, white boxers tend to be deaf.
MASTIFF/DOBERMAN/ROTTWEILER
Good: loyal to the family, protects the house, tolerant
Bad: won't let anyone near the house until owner says okay, reserved around strangers, dominant towards other dogs (need to socialize when young).
GREAT DANE
Good: very calm, doesn't bark much, good for families, guards.
Bad: grows quickly so tends to be clumsy, strong tail (often cut), big and tall, lives around 7 years, needs socializing.
GIANT SCHNAUZER
Good: good for families, good with kids, very loyal to the family
Bad: dominates other dogs (needs to be socialized), not often seen, would need to be shaven.
AIREDALE
Good: good with families, very patient with kids, very short curly hair
Bad: dominates other dogs (needs socializing)
MINIATURE/STANDARD POODLE
Good: playful, active, very intelligent, loyal, good for families, easy to train. Looks good when shaven.
Bad: active, barks, eyes leaks (miniature)
BORDER COLLIE
Good: good for families, sociable, learns quickly, energetic, good dog
Bad: needs to move, fur normally kept long.
