English Ivy might work, but will grow slowly indoors. Pothos, Philodendron, Grape Ivy (Cissus rhombifolia), Kangaroo Vine, Creeping Fig would all probably do ok. I'm not sure you could get any of them to grow up on the ceiling, though.
I would try the Kangaroo Vine. It grows fast and tolerates lower light.
Boston Ivy would be more likely to attach itself to the wall and grow without a trellis, and probably go across the ceiling, too, but I think its success would depend more on your lighting situation.
