My friend's car was hit by a moose. Yes, you read that correctly.

He was stopped at a stop sign when a huge-fuck moose (Adult, full rack of antlers) we're guessing it was a mother and her calf was on the other side of the road, Rammed his car at full moose-speed. Left huge dents, broke two windows, and was funny as all fuck.

tl:dr; GET MOOSE INSURANCE

My sister's boyfriend has a similiar experience. Going down a dirt road relatively slow. Suddenly a black bear came out and rammed the side of his truck. Left nose prints in the door dust. Barely left a dent. But the deer he hit later smashed in the fender. Go figure.

But no, I avoid hitting animals. I don't care for getting dents or gore stuck on my vehicle.
