>>339165In terms of personal experience, I find myself agreeing most with this comment. I used to volunteer at our local no-kill dog pound as a dog walker, and I've entered the kennels of probably dozens of unfamiliar pit bulls. I've never been snapped at once by these dogs, and find actually that the Labradors (especially the mixes) were the more nippy, high-strung breed. Having said that, I still wouldn't trust a pit bull alone with a young child or another dog, unless they were raised together since the dog was very young. I love the breed, but I definitely don't think they're the dog for everyone.
Also personally, I think Cesar Millan's training tactics should only be used as a last resort when all other resources have been exhausted (i.e. on dogs who would otherwise be euthanized for being overly aggressive). Day-to-day training should not have to involve scaring the piss out of your dog, or forcing him to run on a treadmill for hours while you sit on the patio drinking a lemonade; all of that can be easily accomplished by a long walk done TOGETHER, and proper socialization starting from an early age.
tl;dr I'm gunna get flammmmmed
