Not exactly what kind of answer you are looking for, but Orangutans (like all monkeys, apes, and tarsiers) are Haplorrhines. This literally means they have dry noses as opposed to a rhinarium found on lemurs and other prosimian primates. They are also Cattarhines (Old World monkeys, apes) which means their nostrils are pointed downward as opposed to a Plattyrhines (New World monkeys) which have a wide septum.
