I got a job at Petco as a dog groomer. I started on Wed. I am the only guy working there. It is pretty sweet though, when you arent hanging out with dogs you are just sitting around talking about dogs.

TL;DR - I'm a dog groomer, is this awesome? y/n

How much does Petco charge for grooming? I had a German Shepherd that I need washed and brushed. And nails trimmed if they do that.

Oh LOL, Petco and Petsmart typically do horrible jobs then overcharge for it. I've been a groomer for quite a while now and I hate doing dogs that they got a hold of first.

Well I don't cut the dogs hair. I do everything else though. You DO have to go through the training to cut the hair. I just give baths, clean teeth, cut nails, clean ears.

Nah I had none, applied for grooming trainee. I bugged them a lot and they hired me.

The bottom line is, I get to work with dogs and I'm glad. My last job was delivering pizza.
